    ¿What are the Smarties 3-6 years classes like?

    •  FUN: Short varied activities, using total physical response: students love them! Children react and participate in English.
    •  CHEERFUL AND PRODUCTIVE: Language acquisition in a natural and dynamic way. Three different levels for little ones aged between 3 and 6 years.
    •  TOTAL IMMERSION: Absolute priority given to ORAL communication, we’re looking for students to naturally acquire the habits of listening and producing bit by bit in a second language. The focus is

      oral.

    • ATTRACTIVE MATERIALS: Flashcards, puppets, songs, games, stories, stickers, colourful mats and the use of innovative interactive media.

    Children and the University of Cambridge exams

    At BLS idiomas when designing the academic syllabus, we ensure that that our students from the age of 3 gradually develop fluency and acquire the skills they will need to strengthen with time. Due to this, parents can rest assured that when their children reach the age of 7/8, they will be able to take Cambridge English exams, if they desire.

    • FUN AND PRODUCTIVE: Lots of varied activities, teams, songs, written tasks to reinforce knowledge, visual activities using attractive materials and innovative interactive media created by the BLS team.
    • CLIL-AICLE (Content and Language Integrated Learning): We integrate content from the world which surrounds us into language learning. This is employed through the realisation of projects which are

      carried out quarterly. This enables students to enrich their vocabulary while at the same time connecting English with the world in which we live.

    •  TOTAL IMMERSION: The four skills are practiced: oral and written production and reading and listening comprehension, prioritising oral communication. Thanks to the BLS Student Follow Up Programme, we work towards our students making progress both at our centre and at their morning schools.

    Cambridge English Language Assessment

    Children and the University of Cambridge exams

    YLE (Cambridge Young Learners English Test): These are Cambridge English exams designed for children and pre-teens. Starting training at this age is extremely effective for progress in English. At BLS idiomas we offer this preparation to our Kids (7-11 years) and Juniors (11-15 years) with a view to them being totally capable of obtaining Cambridge certificates in the future.

    • PRODUCTIVE: We want our students to enjoy learning. We motivate them to get the most from their classes due to the current necessity, on a personal and work level, to learn and master other languages.

    Cambridge English Language Assessment

    Juniors and Cambridge University Exams

    Without B1 / B2 level graduation isn’t possible: According to the Bolonia Plan, youths planning on attending university in the future must be accredited with at least B1 level, intermediate level according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) in order to obtain a university certificate. Our students will be able to reach the University of Cambridge FCE level around the age of 14-16. CAE: students who obtain FCE will be able to enter the first year of Advanced (CAE).
